It's an educational opportunity. Best to come when one of the many festivals are also taking place at the fort. And make it an all day event.
Went here with an entire 5th grade class. I'd not been here since I was a child and it was really interesting. Completely worth the drive
We have been there several times. The kids love it. It's a great place to learn a little history and have fun. The staff is very knowledgeable and are great at interacting with the kids. It's a good place to spend an afternoon.
Quiet and pleasant. Surrounded by a cute party for picnics etc. Basic playground. Lots of history.
Great history and superb guides! The gift shop offers truly great hand crafted items and the exhibit does not shy away from the harder parts of history in early America.
